March 25, 200422 yr Author Hahahaha.... With this coaster and the other twin of The King Cobra still running at another Paramount park....it makes you wonder what went wrong with our beloved coaster? Steve
March 25, 200422 yr I think it was just maitence issues, plus I am more than happy with Delirium......so fair trade in my books.
March 25, 200422 yr Our togo standup was the first built and the first to be removed and it was because of maintenance issues. The other two will probably be removed within the next few years... but this is just speculation because i have no idea what kind of condition they are in.
March 25, 200422 yr I think it was just maitence issues, plus I am more than happy with Delirium......so fair trade in my books. I agree with Yogi. Even though King Cobra was a fun ride, I believe Delirium is overall a MUCH better ride, and one that is extremely re-rideable.
March 26, 200422 yr That and TR:TR at PCW looks like it'll be decent to go to. I might get to go when my mom goes to Canada with my stepdad next time. Supposedly it's being painted, but with Wicked Twister's color scheme it doesn't seem very tombish...
March 26, 200422 yr Author Is the TR:TR coaster at canada wonderland the same type of coaster as The Borg Assimiulator thing at carowinds? Steve
March 26, 200422 yr Both of those coasters are the same in the fact that they are flying coasters. However, Borg Assimilator was manufactured in 2000 by Vekoma as Stealth at Paramount`s Great America. The ride was moved to Carowinds for this season. Tomb Raider: The Ride at Paramount Canada`s Wonderland was manufactured by Zamperla, the same company that made the flying coaster at Six Flags Elitch Gardens. From what I`ve heard, both rides are not extrodinary when compared to the B&M variety of flyers. I have heard that the Vekoma flyer is a better overall experience than the Zamperla models.
