April 8, 201115 yr well, i had today off & im still in my off-season. being strapped for cash, i decided to go to a local museum that was FREE (they do accept donations thought). so i thought id let everybody in on the area i come from with this trip report. i come from a town called Shelbyville Indiana. some of the famous things we are known for is that some of the native's (Mostly Dead) were famous. we had the author who wrote the book "Bear's of Blue River", James Pierce who played the original "Tarzan", me kettle from the "Ma & Pa Kettle" series, & the world's tallest woman Sandy Allen. Just a pre-warning, i took a bunch of photo's; so the next several post will be of pictures. Enjoy...
April 8, 201115 yr Author ...& my camera died here, right before i could get a picture of an outhouse. there was also a school house & downstairs, there was a quilt exhibit. hope you enjoyed the photo's & if you get over to my neck of the wood's, swing by & check this out in person. here is a link to there website for hours of operation, location, & added information: http://www.grovermuseum.org/

April 8, 201115 yr Author while i was there, i kept noticing a strong perfume in certian area's of the museum; but when i was near other people, i couldnt smell it. i wonder if it was a built in smell or one of the staff had laid it on thick...
