I'm pretty impressed that a hotel in vegas has been there since 1952. Seems like a very long life for a resort out there, the way they just knock things down at will. i never got a chance to see or ride Speed: TR, but it looked pretty fun. Oh well... :\

when I rode it I thought it was a very impressive ride. I will be POVing it next weekend for sure. But what im wondering is will Nascar Cafe remain open which the ride is located. Hmmmm

That's too bad. Another coaster to add to my list of ones I'll never get to ride but I could have when I was out there in 2001 if certain September events hadn't occured, a list only occupied by High Roller until now. (Don't go anywhere Canyon Blaster, I plan on getting to you someday!)

This was a nice coaster. Too bad this is closing. The Speed the Ride reminded me somewhat of Mr. Freeze although Mr. Freeze is better. For those who will visit Las Vegas, ride this coaster before it closes.

I am hoping that this coaster can be relocated....
