I feel like I have seen visual evidence Vortex is sinking. Unfortunately I didn't take a picture of The Vortex while it was in the background of Diamondback's water splash.

I read the first part of your post and thought oh no, here we go again.. but then.. well I just chuckled :)

    Vortex is rough because it's structure is barely able to contain the awesomeness. And here's a close-up of a footer. Hasn't sunk much since 1987 has it?
