Kings Island blog on Flight Deck

One of the many projects going on in the park this offseason is painting the Flight Deck roller coaster. Workmen are currently putting a primer coat of paint on the 17-year-old ride.

I personally cannot wait to see what it is going to look like after the painting is completed!!

How would you like to see it painted?

+1 less thing that people can complain about.

Hopefully The Racer is next on the list.

The primer coat already makes the track look great. Good to see one of the last of its kind in the US getting some care.

Looks like Flight Deck will be staying with us for at least a few more seasons!;)

It is wonderful that FD is being painted. Last year, that area, with Flight Deck looking like it did and SoB not operating, that area really looked run down, IMO.
