I'm a regular CP visitor, but have been to KI once earlier this year. As I recall, platinum pass holders get in 1/2 hour early at KI? Is this correct or am I getting confused with KD?

Does the 1/2 early entry apply during Haunt, ie, should I plan to be there for 6:30 opening tonight?

There are no ERT's Friday nights at Haunt. Saturdays, there is ERT at 11AM for an hour and on Sundays at 11:30AM for a 1/2 hour.

Thank you very much for the info. I appreciate it. Coming up 71 from the south, I've heard it takes a while to get off the freeway and into your parking spot on Fridays. How much extra time should we plan? We're staying at the Laquinta about 4 miles south of the park right off 71.

I usually get to the park at about 6:30pm on Fridays. On Saturdays and Sundays, the parking lot opens about 1/2 hour before ERT starts and there usually isn't a whole lot of traffic during that time. A little tip if you run into traffic coming off 71 onto Kings Island Drive: Usually the traffic is backed up in two lanes. Go into the third lane or fourth lane on KI drive until you get to the entrance. Most of the General Public doesn't realize that the third and fourth lane lead into the entrance. That way you beat the traffic. ( SHHHHH, don't tell anyone. LOL.)
