Hey all,

I was just curious if the main portion of this site ever gets updated anymore. The other day I was looking for pics of the Planet Snoopy updates to Nick Universe. Basically info about them is non-existent on the main site. There are even still menu items saying "New for 2007!". Seems like the site could be stripped down to just news, photos, and forums if there isn't any maintenance being done.

I seem to remember reading a post from Boddah on a similar topic awhile back saying that he (and other mods) didn't have the time for those sorts of updates. Totally understandable. I wonder if they consider adding moderators that could find the time. I'm sure there are plenty of members that would step up and volunteer their time for this cause. I know I would. Much of this work can be done independent of the site and then uploaded by a moderator in the correct format.

It does feel like the sit has not been updated and put in the correct time period in quite some time. You do have to consider though that the admins of this site have a lot more important things to worry about than a Kings Island fan site.

agreed with Jasper. Dane and Ryan run it pretty tight when it comes to permissions for this site- and rightly so. There may be other mods with administrative permissions- but I personally don't see that list expanding out of the interest of protecting the sites legitimacy.

We are well aware of the things that need updating. But those things require time. Dane is the one that does much of the actual work to update the site, even if it is a matter of copying over content that myself or Ryan has written. And yes, things are relatively busy. I personally am working two jobs, soon to be one, and when I have free time, updating KIC is not among my list of top priorities.
