So I thought I would share with you all something funny I noticed this morning:

I'm flying out of Seattle into Louisville tonight, and while printing out my boarding passes, there's a "Things To Do in Louisville, KY" at the bottom of my tickets. The very last thing on the list? Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom, with a phone number. Now I know that it closed, but I'm going to assume that others that live in Seattle are not so obsessed with amusement parks in Kentucky. Perhaps Delta should take it off their list? Just an idea, haha.

I thought you all would find that amusing!

Yes! On my way to Geauga Lake's Wildwater Kingdom last week, I drove by a small billboard advertising Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Campground (an old family favorite) "located only two miles from Sea World."

"And SeaWorld," I remarked, "is only 1025 miles from Geauga Lake's Wildwater Kingdom!"

But "Sea World," as the sign proclaimed, is in Australia. I figured that was a typo.

Some motels in SW Ohio mention you can visit your favorite Hanna-Barbara Characters at Kings Island located next to the College Football Hall of Fame.

Also at SFGAm several Coke machines list the superman coasters, including Ultimate Escape at SFWoA and Ride of Steel at SF Darien Lake (still operating sans flags and Man of Steel).

What a mess that latter machine is! Ride of Steel wasn't called that until AFTER Six Flags left. Before then, it was Superman - Ride of Steel. Ride of Steel still operates...Are those the same Coke machine fronts often found in Six Flags parks where the coaster depicted is obviously Kings Island's Vortex?

^I cant recall, I was finding it humorous that they haven't updated the machines since 2003.
