July 5, 201016 yr "Jamie Jacobs (Colorado) and Kevin Kurder (IL) celebrated the Fourth of July by getting married at Kings Island." http://twitpic.com/22g46w Glad to see something happy at KI from yesterday...
July 5, 201016 yr Cool! I don't think I would get married at King's Island but I've thought about proposing on top of the Eiffel Tower or something.

July 6, 201016 yr Totally saw her yesterday walking into the front gate. I kinda paused for a second then figured they were getting married.
July 6, 201016 yr Wow so its actually been done huh? Way back in '07 me and my wife had talked about a Kings Island Wedding. We actually went to the park in June to scope everything out for it. Eventually though the cost and planning got so high, however, that we backed out of it, and we actually ended up just having a nice budget friendly wedding in my in-law's backyard, and we did it in August of '07 (we were planning on using 6-7-08 as our wedding date at Kings Island). My hats off to anyone who's pulled it off. We called KI on this very matter and were told its never been done before that, primarily because while they aren't opposed to it, they can't block the GP From entering any certain area.

July 6, 201016 yr Too bad the wedding wasn't on DB or Beast. Nevertheless, Mazel Tov to the happy couple. May their years together be filled with happiness.
July 6, 201016 yr Cool for them. If I could get married at any park it would be Dollywood or Isls. of Adventure. Both are beautiful
August 24, 201510 yr How can you do a wedding at Kings Island and how much does it cost? I've been wanting to know how to find out the details. I know it's easy to find out details for weddings at Cedar Point
August 24, 201510 yr Cedar Point has wedding information ready on their website due to their popularity as a great wedding destination with a mile long beach and several hotels. In order to inquire about one at Kings Island, your best bet would be calling/e-mailing the park directly.

August 25, 201510 yr When I was planning my wedding years and years ago, I had my heart set on Coney Island's Moonlite Gardens. Even though I hadn't been to Coney Island before, I saw the venue online and thought it was absolutely stunning. We ended up deciding on a winter wedding at a state park. Winter is more my personality and we had a nice light snowfall. Plus, money-wise, it was a fantastic deal for all we got. Coney Island is something to consider if Kings Island doesn't work out! Truly beautiful venue. http://coneyislandpark.com/private-parties-and-weddings
August 25, 201510 yr Cool! I don't think I would get married at King's Island but I've thought about proposing on top of the Eiffel Tower or something. Do it! It would be grand!
August 25, 201510 yr You just replied to a FIVE YEAR OLD post. And the poster you replied to no longer posts here.
August 25, 201510 yr Possibly seeing an opportunity that was passed 5 years ago to make a play on the inactive user's profile name?
August 27, 201510 yr You just replied to a FIVE YEAR OLD post. And the poster you replied to no longer posts here. Haha. I saw the post that thought "Do it! It would be Grand to reply to this post!"
August 28, 201510 yr Weddings were done during the Paramount years. Drop Tower's media day was a wedding with the bridal dresses being tied together, which can be seen in YT videos. FOF at KD had its media day be weddings and the train valleyed during the course. Talk about a "Flight of Fear".
August 28, 201510 yr I know it's stupid a single 14 year old girl for asking. I just have BIG dreams!
August 28, 201510 yr There is no such thing as a stupid 14 year old's dream, only unrealized potential; may you live long enough to see your pigs fly.
August 29, 201510 yr I know it's stupid a single 14 year old girl for asking. I just have BIG dreams! I know a girl who saw a bride at Disney's California Grill and .said that was the wedding she would have. She was 12 at the time .I had the pleasure of walking her down the aisle at Disney's Beach Club 15 years later. Dreams can come true.
August 29, 201510 yr Thanks for that. I love KIC! If you wish upon a star... Makes no difference who you are...
