I was thinking about taking the family to Kings Island on Monday July 5th. I usually go in the spring and fall but have never been this time of year. Can someone give me some input of how heavy the crowds will be on a scale of 1 (being light) to 10 (stay home). Thanks for any input!

As always, much depends on weather. SOME (but not all that many) people will have the day off. Many who would otherwise go some other week day may go then. It's really hard to say, but I doubt it will be packed like Saturday (and probably Sunday evening) will almost certainly be.

I find that with three day weekends which include Monday, the middle day, ie, Sunday, is usually the most crowded. As Terpy said, weather is a big factor also.
