June 11, 201016 yr Quassy Amusement Park's new roller coaster project marked a milestone this week as more than 10,000 people have taken a "virtual ride" on the yet-to-be-named wooden coaster coming to the lakeside property in 2011. http://www.youtube.c...player_embedded Source http://www.amusementtoday.com/ Surprised to not see Timberliners in the video!
June 11, 201016 yr There are no Timberliners because the video was made with No Limits, a simulation program that's not loaded with Timberliner trains. The ride looks like a fun little woodie!
June 11, 201016 yr There are no Timberliners because the video was made with No Limits, a simulation program that's not loaded with Timberliner trains. Actually it was made in a custom auto cad program then inserted into a "special" No limits editor and simulator I'm not so sure if the ride will be using Timberliners either.
June 11, 201016 yr I wouldn't be surprised to see Timberliners running on Quassy's new coaster. There is going to be a some nice spots of air time and it looks to be a very enjoyable junior coaster. It's been a few years coming with zoning issues. I can't wait to see GG's new racer in Happy Valley with I know as a fact to run Timberliners!
June 11, 201016 yr I can't wait to see GG's new racer in Happy Valley with I know as a fact to run Timberliners! I check RCDB everyday to see if they added any photos of it. I can't wait to see it either.
April 23, 201115 yr Opening day is upon us, the Wooden Warrior awaits. Very nice comments about Mike Graham, too: http://www.therepubl...-Ready-to-Roll/ Very nice article...very nice.
April 23, 201115 yr This coaster will really help out the park. I used to go to Quassy every summer, but now that KI is a short walk away, I barely go anymore.
April 24, 201115 yr Wonderful article. Good picture of the Timberliners, too: MIDDLEBURY — Allen Beavers Jr., 81, couldn't stop beaming as he waited in a rain coat to ride the new wooden roller coaster at Quassy Amusement Park on Saturday morning.Even the steady, cold rain couldn't wipe off his smile after he rode the Wooden Warrior for the first time with 11 others. "Great ride," he summed up once disembarking from the 12-seat, six-car train. "Very smooth. Families are going to love this." Beavers, of West Hartford, was the first official rider of Quassy's new centerpiece. He was joined by about 100 others for the inaugural run of the coaster.... http://www.rep-am.com/articles/2011/04/24/news/local/553517.txt
