Forest area behind Beast station

Featured Replies

Is it just me, or were there trees immediately behind The Beast's station at one time? In the area left of the brake run, there seems to be a lot of rubbish (the green growing type). I could have sworn there used to be trees there. Just need a short answer please.

Yes, there was alot of shrubbery there, then they cut it all out. I have some pictures of it but I havent developed them yet. If I remember right, there was alot of speculation about a new ride going there... tongue.gif

Is this right b4 the 2nd chainlift? I love how its just a field there its my favorite part of the ride.

He's talking about the ending brake run. There used to be a lot of rubbish that just kind of sat there.

Yes there were trees there, they cut them down sometime last year, I can't exactly remember when, sometime during post season I think.

Well, originally, they cut some of the trees down in 2001 so that they could build the access road to get to TR:TR. Then last season, sometime in September, they cleared out all the small shrubs and bushes between the final brake run and the access road. I don`t know their reasoning behind this, Jeff Siebert did make a fictituos refrence to at the gathering for the last ride of the year on The Beast last season.
