Hey KIC,

Took a few pics from the show tonight, and really enjoyed it it was very well executed for what we have to work with. I assume everyone will have a different reaction, coming from "nice lights" to "not my thing" to "I want to come back tomorrow night!"

I'd stick around in the evenings to watch this show again! So now we have three nightly awesome shows:

-Starlight

-Fireworks

-Fountains

It's hard to get everything in one update. There's tooonnnnssss of lights. These photos don't do justice! Especially the atmosphere of the area. The music, the lights, everyone around...stangely tranquil and relaxing.

I saw other pictures and it didn't look so great, then I saw yours and it made me wanna go for myself!!!

Did you take a video? I'd like to hear the music and see how the lights change and stuff. I guess I'll just have to wait til when ever I get the gas money to go back to KI!

If this is the case, that would explain a lot behind my not so favorable comments in the Snoopy's Starlight Spectacular topic. Most of my time in that area was between 9:00 and 9:30. After that we went to Coney, then back to the SSLS area just before 10:00. I wonder why they wait half an hour before they start the shows. It would make sense to me to start the shows when the display starts...

I can only speak for myself, but in my opinion - The images you capture and share on this website are far superior to any other. In fact (unless I've missed something) I'd like to nominate that your photos go into the gallery. Off the top of my head your Diamondback photos were just stellar. Perhaps some of the current photos could be archived to make room for some of yours. Im not a photographer, but I do use professional images regularly in my real job, and I can say if I needed a picture of Kings Island - yours would be the ones I purchased. In general, your point of view is interesting and definitely 'off the beaten path.' I definitely look forward to your photograph posts in all honesty.

Not to negate anyone else that posts, I appreciate everyones photos very much too. Just the fact you all decide to share them is fantastic. *notice you don't see me posting any pictures Ive taken... - but who wants to see pictures of me and my godson? snooze. *

I'm actually surprised at this - honestly, I've always thought light shows were boring (such as the ones during Christmas), but this one looks great!

I thought it was really cool also. Way anyone else surprised by the crowds? I expected A LOT more then were actually there.

Great PTR Zach. When I saw that CP was doing this last year I wanted to see experience it desperately. Now that it's at KI I suppose I'll be seeing it this summner!
