I see the opportunity for this sign to rock.

1, 2, 3, 4, oh, sorry, just counting the trash bins.

I'm glad they're making a sign for this. I used to never know where Planet Snoopy began...

Here is how the sign appeared on Friday Night.

This is exactly what the arch looked like on Saturday.

So what are the aluminum poles on the midway that look like chain link fence posts in front of the pumpkin coaster for? There is a series of four to six of them (I didn't count), about five feet apart, in front of the old wrought iron fence...and they are set in the cement...

I saw those too. I also saw them over by the Diamondback gift shop.

I say that they are for.............. six flags.

not a good sign

I am going out on a limb and being creative, maybe a giant Peanuts comic strip?

While obstructing views of The Great Pumpkin Coaster on that side of the area? Doubt it, though it would be neat to see giant comic strips peppered throughout PS like Universal has with Toon Lagoon at Islands.

Ah I just realized that its right in front of The Great Pumpkin Coaster. I only get up to KI once a year so don't know everything well. Either way its interesting they would put anything in front of the coaster that would possibly obstruct the view.

I understand that. Let me say it again:

There ARE six flags over Coney Mall.

They hang over the entrance sign...

My point? This is not the first time six flags have been hung over Kings Island...

A hidden message, maybe?

Anyway I saw the new sign there with Jackson on Friday night. Looks pretty cool.

Parks and park chains like to take little hidden jabs at each other.

The sides of the trams at Disney had the Paramount mountain hidden on them during the Paramount Parks years. I sincerely doubt that was an accident, either!

Six Flags Great Adventure's parking lot has logos for Six Flags that look stunningly like Cedar Fair's corporate logo.

And, then there's the new name for what was Six Flags Theme Parks and Six Flags, Inc.:

Six Flags Entertainment Corporation.

Gee, what a coincidence....

And I think more things that have to do with peanuts. Because the spot where they used to have a hannah barbara arch, now has an uncompleted arch for the new theme. So it probably will go along with that new arch way in front of Chick-fil-a

There are more of those metal poles, across from the exit of Boo Blasters on Boo Hill.

I would guess and say maybe a covered entrance to PS. Did they metion something in the 5@5 about the Ivy tunnel making a return in some other form?

Maybe a bunch of arches like the first one? It would be cool if they added some kind of tunnel that they light up at night.

Saw this on TPR, maybe they're for something like this?

Hope so I really "dig" that

Why is it taking so long for them to get some simple flags then? I went yesterday, and it's still the silver poles.
