Waiting times in lines on weekdays

Featured Replies

Anyone been on a week day this year yet? How long did you wait in line for Diamondback, and the other coasters? I plan on going on a Wednesday

Yes, people have been in the park on weekdays this year. Just not the general public.

Weekday operation begins next week. Diamondback almost always has a wait time of 30 minutes or less.

The only week day the park has been open yet this year have been Fridays...last Friday morning was crowded with school groups (it was a Math & Science day) but by 7pm I was able to walk on several rides in a row.

Edit: ^Beat me to it!

30 minutes? I went before school let out on a Wednesday after school, and was able to get 14 rides in within about an hour and a half.

Then I went after school on a Wednesday in September and got 21 rides in 2 hours.

It will be very empty, maybe there will be a few schools there but still.

The thing to keep in mind about lines is that Boomerang Bay will be open. Similar to Holiday World, the park is decently crowded in the morning, but people will typically leave for Boomerang Bay around lunch, leaving the rest of the park with 5-10 minute waits. Sometime soon after lunch I usually hit 10 minute waits.
