Brian Kosmac on In The Loop TONIGHT

Featured Replies

Very enjoyable interview with Brian.

Wow Kosmac said Son of Beast is boring and thrown together. I really didn't see that coming.

I agree with the thrown together part as far as the station. To me the getting to and from as well as on and off SOB has always looked like afterthought.

Starting in one hour, Brian Kosmac, operations manager at Kings Island, will be a guest on In The Loop. Join us live tonight at 8 PM as we talk with him about all things Kings Island!

I don't believe he is the operation manager, I actually am right on this because I personally know and am good friends with him! I think you may be mistaken!

Actually, he is an Operations Manager. He works in the Operations department.

He may work in that department but I know the main Operations manager, Jerry N. He may be a manager in operations but he is indeed not the main man Operations manager!!! Doubt me if you may but I know the Operations manager and well most managers at KI!!

There can be more than one operations manager. For example, Coney has three different operations managers. While each has their own area of oversight, in the peak summer season there may only be one of the three working at any given time. Whoever is on duty is the one that the rides managers report to/are notified by when bad weather is in the area.

Oh I see now, well then Jerry N. would be operations manager and in charge of security...

Exactly. At Coney, one of the operations managers is in charge of the rides, games and live shows, while another is in charge of the pool. And all three of Coney`s operations managers started out as seasonal workers at Coney Island.

  • 2 years later...

Kosmac is one of the two Area Managers who is below the OD (operations director). Trust me on this I know them all.

^lol

Brian is a great guy and definitely knows what he is talking about.

Oh and by the way he is the Area Manager of Ride Operations.

Thank goodness someone finally got it right.
