I just wanted to say that I am REALLY impressed that they fixed the "pouring lava" effect at the end! I've never seen it work before, and it's a really neat effect. I'm glad to see that the park seems to be putting some effort into theming this year. Did they fix effects on any of the other rides, too?

I agree. It looked GREAT!

When was the last time the effect worked? I can't remember it ever working since I started riding AE.

Well Flight of Fear has it's video turned back on they even had the part playing where the show a live feed of the guests in the queue.

Why don't they make it a music themed ride I don't think the video is getting old and really annoying going in when you wait in line for FOF!

I wish they could afford the fog when you first come out of the station I miss that when the ride had that effect working. Has anyone rode AE at night this season yet? Do they still have all the different colored lights at night on it?

They just fixed the "lava" pour, nothing comes out. Just the lighting in the lava is back on and the stone soldiers are moving their arms again...

I agree it looked very bright and lover-ly. They did have the E-door open how ever so that was kinda lame, other than that it was a nice ride. It seemed much faster as well...

I did not make it there before the rain set in on Saturday. I was hoping to try again this weekend but the weather does not look like it will be much better.

It was nice to see that "lava lamp" operating again. I was getting tired of my kids telling me that the lava "looks like sewage" without the lighting....

I can;t wait to go ride and see the new and improved lava.

I have never, ever seen that door shut. I think it might be broken?

^Could be broken. Or it could have been forgotten to be shut after maintenance walked the track.

I rode it last Friday night and did not noticed the other lights........its still one of the best night rides in the park. I was watching to see if the spears were working or not in the tunnel but could not tell it was too dark.

I have not ridden yet this season, but I will have to check it out Friday!

I know I may sound lame but I have always liked AE. I usually end up riding it alone because the other 1/2 hates it.

No, AE is a fun little ride. It's one of those, lost finds kinda thing. I mean the wait is usally never too too long and its always a nice refreshing trip to a forbidin track that was closed down. Which reminds me, I didn't hear the speil about the train being lost and stuff this past saturday, was it playing opening weekend?
