True length of the Vortex?

Featured Replies

I was at PKI a few days ago and I noticed that at the exit of The Vortex taped onto the operator's booth window was an info sheet about the ride. It said the ride was 2796' long or something like that but many coaster sites say it is 3800' long. Does anyone know which is true?

LOL for some reason I'd say the number on the operating booth would be the most accurate.

hmmm...I don't know about that. You really have no idea who typed that up...

I'm sure PKI let some guy just type it up with his estimates in post it in the park where people can see. Especially on the ride itself.

^ Well, the numbers disagree with the numbers on the web page. Did they let some guy just type up the web page with his estimates?

Maybe the longer one includes the lift hill and station where the smaller one doesn't? I have no idea...
