Beast Video

Featured Replies

I stumbled upon this video about The Beast from 1985 "Disney's wish upon a Star" show where a girl makes a wish to ride The Beast as many times as she wants. It shows some behind the scenes information as well. The quality of the video is pretty bad, but still is interesting.

The actual part about The Beast starts about a mintute and 1/2 in.

I'm pretty sure this is already being discussed on here, I could not find the topic when I searched but I know I saw it somewhere on here. It is a great video though I must say.

I also searched and figured somewhere on the forums it had already been discussed, but couldn't find anything either.

^I am pretty sure sure that i have seen this somewhere on here also. Hmmm, I wonder how Disney truly felt about taking her to ride a coaster from a park owned by a completely different and rival animation company.

Well, in 1985, Kings Island was not owned by Taft Broadcasting anymore, which owned Hanna Barbera. In 1985, Kings Island was owned by Kings Entertainment Company (which itself would be sold just two years later). So its not like Disney went to a rival studio/company to make that television show. Yes, the park had ties to Hanna Barbera, but that does not mean that HB ever really rivaled the greatness of the Disney brand.
