October 2, 200916 yr Well, my friends are bailing on HH tonight and I'm debating what to do. If I go alone, I really just want to bang out some rides on DB-for it has been quite a while. But if I'm looking at long lines I may just skip it. Any estimate on DB lines tonight?
October 2, 200916 yr With it being a Friday night people may be going for just Haunt itself so the line may be really slim. Hard to tell though as the line can vary so much.
October 3, 200916 yr Author It was great tonight...got 9 rides in...no wait on Drop Tower either. Going to have to go back to check out the haunts...seemed like they'd be pretty cool.
October 3, 200916 yr At its peak tonight, the line for Diamondback was around 25 minutes. It tapered off towards the end of the night to around five minutes. And a hint for those of you wanting to ride Flight of Fear/Firehawk. I didn`t get to the park tonight until around 7:30. I headed right for Flight of Fear and Firehawk (before Trail of Terror opened). And I walked on both of those rides, which does not happen often with Firehawk.
October 4, 200916 yr Ha I just got back from tonight and the lines were terrible SRL was backed up almost to the entrence and most of them were groups.
October 4, 200916 yr I cannot believe how bad all the lines were tonight. The park was packed. I went Friday and walked on just about everything.
October 4, 200916 yr Iwent friday night and had a great time.Saturday early was great but as it got near haunt time bam,it got busy.I enjoyed the fear feast but the 6:45 line up for slaughter house looked to be bad with so many people eating upstairs.
October 4, 200916 yr Ha I just got back from tonight and the lines were terrible SRL was backed up almost to the entrance and most of them were groups. I claim responsibility for that one. I was separating alone and it just kept backing up apparently. Now everyone knows why we close the line when it reaches the bottom of the stairs. Hopefully it never happens again. Other than that, the line hovered around 45 minutes for most of the Haunt tonight. Sometimes less, but most of the time it was a full queue. It tapered off towards the end of the night. At 1 AM, the line was about 10-15 minutes. Not bad if you want one last ride before you head home.
October 4, 200916 yr Ha I just got back from tonight and the lines were terrible SRL was backed up almost to the entrence and most of them were groups. lol. cuz you went on saturday *sigh* and drunk stupid ppl galore.... Hey ryan... any chance of staying a little later some night and letting some of those haunty ppl have a late ride? O:) hey a girl can dream can't she
October 4, 200916 yr QUOTE (Jason B @ Oct 4 2009, 02:19 AM) I cannot believe how bad all the lines were tonight. The park was packed. I went Friday and walked on just about everything. As for Saturday, GOOD! Mr. Kinzel, many investors, employees, contractors and friends of Cedar Fair Entertainment Company are very glad to hear this. Hopefully, many, many thousands of nickels were also spent in the park.

October 4, 200916 yr Dimes are a Beech Bend thing: http://www.kentucky.com/lexgo/books/story/823066.html Nickels are Mr. Kinzel's specialty, and have been since a rather notorious conference call a while back...

O:) hey a girl can dream can't she Yea I can I stayed till midnight last night with Adam, his brother(i think) and Andrew. But yea I can stay late one night I might come thursday right after school.
October 5, 200916 yr Dimes are a Beech Bend thing: http://www.kentucky.com/lexgo/books/story/823066.html Nickels are Mr. Kinzel's specialty, and have been since a rather notorious conference call a while back... Would you happen to know what was said in that conference call, or how it was used in context? I was talking to one of my friends on Friday after school about that.
October 5, 200916 yr Yes, I would. A concerned analyst wanted to know if the increasing commodity prices were going to be passed on to the customer. Mr. Kinzel noted some food prices had increased, but only by a "nickel or so." What was utter balderdash. Have you noticed that in park food prices have only risen by a nickel or so?
October 5, 200916 yr The lines "die down" (pun absolutely intended) around 11:00 or so. At least that's been my observation. I checked out DB around 8:30 and the line was at the entrance, as reported earlier, but around 11:00 I only waited about 20 mins. And I can concur - Fridays are a lot less busy than Saturdays, so if you want to get in a lot of ride time Fridays may be better for you.
October 5, 200916 yr I went Opening Night, and the longest wait suprisingly was for FOF at about 25 minutes. We walked right on FH and all the other rides were sporting usually a Station wait. All of the Haunts were between 10 to 15 minutes.
October 5, 200916 yr And if you really want to get some rides in - remember that Gold Pass ERT still exists on Saturday (1hr) and Sunday (1/2 hour) mornings. I didn't leave the Red Train for the entire time this morning, then walked over to a station wait at Firehawk.
October 5, 200916 yr when i went last sat. the line for db was 1 hour long at 11, and fof was 1 hour, Firehawk was 2 hours
October 6, 200916 yr For those of you that attended Haunt on Sunday's last year, do you recall how busy the park was? I know Sundays are usually good days to go, but with Haunt, I would expect it to be buiser then the average Sunday.
October 6, 200916 yr Haunt on Sundays last year? I don't think there WAS Haunt on Sundays last year. Aren't those two Sundays new for Haunt?
October 7, 200916 yr You are correct as usual, Terpy. There was no Haunt on any Sundays last year. Now two years ago there were the Bare Bones nights...
October 7, 200916 yr Interesting, well, I'm sure it couldn't be more crowded then it is on Saturday Haunts. Looking forward to going the 18th and the 25th!
October 12, 200916 yr Last night it was two to three train wait, from middle to back. A few more train's wait for closer to the front.
October 12, 200916 yr yeah everything was a walk on...no waits at all. Well, except FH because they decided to go to a one train operation...
October 12, 200916 yr How about the 30th, it is a Friday but with it being the night before Halloween and all will it be even more crowded, I am planning on going up that day.
