KI Ghost Stories

Featured Replies

Okay, so I'm new here and though a good way to introduce myself would be to bring up an interesting topic. These are not real as far as I know, this is just for fun. Thanks. Ghost stories you know, have heard or read online about KI. Anyone? Park staff especially, have you seen strange things happen?

I'm interested to know as I am hyped for next Saturday when I will visit Halloween Haunt. Thanks in advance.

I will start with this one from a most interesting website I found:

Teresa's Haunted History of the Tri-State (Haunted Places In Ohio page)

Not many people are aware of the fact that there is a cemetery on Kings Island property. The cemetery is located between the campground and the parking area, and has graves dating back to the 1840s. Allegedly, a little blond girl wearing a blue dress is said to be buried there, and who haunts the park. She is under 4 feet tall, and is estimated to be about 5-8 years old. She is most often seen along the tram route, and in the WaterWorks area.

And something more as a question to staff, former staff...

Have you experienced anything or know anything about this? I am sorry I really am interested in ghosts.

(From same website)

The White Water Canyon rafting ride also has its own ghost. Countless employees have encountered the sounds of a child's giggle and the pelting of rocks against their observational towers after the last visitors have exited the ride. The poltergeist is dubbed "Woody" and is most often experienced at Observational Tower 2, which is deep in the woods, and is only accessible by a small footpath. Occasionally Tower Johnny is blamed for the activity, but other times activity is blamed on the little girl who drowned in the nearby lake.

Halloween is the perfect time for ghost stories. Anyone care to share one or two? :)

I don't have any ghost stories, but this is a really creepy time for me to read them because it is dark, foggy, raining, and there is lightning and thunder.

Just FYI- they no longer use the trams and WaterWorks has become Boomerang Bay. :)

Man, that article freaks me out. I'm in my room alone, and its quiet. It's scary.
