However the calendar is showing closed.

How heavy will crowds be on Oct 3, first night of Haunt?

The first night of Haunt is Sept. 25th. And it'll most likely be about empty.

1st night of Haunt is the 25th and the crowds are relatively light. I went through all of them with about 2 hrs for rides. And DT and Delirium were just dead and waiting for people to try and get a full ride before starting it

First full day, I mean.

I'm not driving 4 hours to be there for 4 hours

I will be there opening day for the haunt. I just love the cool weather being at the park late and bst off all massive amounts of night rides.

It will probably be a little less crowded than a Saturday in the summer. It will be more crowded since it is a Saturday, during Haunt, but not too crowded since it is only the second weekend. Also, if you go from 11 am to 1 am, you can probably do all of the rides by 7 at the latest, plus be in line by the time the indorr Haunts start. You'll probably get most of the Haunts done too. If you don't show up until like 3 pm, you'll get a lot done, but not all. Expect aerage wait times for rides of maybe 30 minutes.

If the weather is good, I might be there for opening night of the haunt. But I'm going to Fall Affair at Holiday World the next day, and leaving pretty early. Which means I won't be at KI long if I go at all. :)
