US-Canada border traffic plummets with new passport policy

I wonder how bad this affected CW combined with the weather & economy.

Well with the new Coaster Behemouth being put in a few years ago I hope they are doing good. But this passport law is mostly for Mexico and other Travels im gussing and Canadas put in there to bother us cause they made me get me passport when I went to CW this year.

The passport rule is the biggest reason I didn't try to get to CW this year. I may not even make it up there next year. I don't have any other reasons to travel out of the country, so that's a large expense just to be able to go to a park.

^ But having a passport does have it's advantages.

You can always make that "impulse" trip, and not necessarily to a park. Go down to Miami and hit a cruise ship that is not full & is just about to leave port. You can save a ton of $$: in the 70-80% range.

And if you happen to ever lose your wallet with all your ID, a passport is handy to have. (see Griswald; Clark)

;)

I don't normally make random whim trips to Miami, lol. And if I did, I'd be going diving instead of on a cruise, but that's just me! ;)

Some of the best dives I have ever been on has been on a cruise vacation!

But I getcha'.

;)

I got my passport a few years back for a cruise and it has come in handy for many many other uses. Identification for numerous issues, a long weekend trip to Niagara Falls and our eventual plans to return to the falls and so forth will make it quite handy.
