Last visit was Father's Day and eldest DS was just 1/4 inch less for the 48 inch rides. This time, he was about 1/2 inch over the top.

We spent about 30 mins in the park Saturday night after traveling there...and the kids got to ride about 4 things in that time.

Saturday morning we spent again the kids area. That evening I took my eldest to Mine Ride, since he had a fit on Father's Day about not being tall enough. He loved it...and did more stuff in the kids areas.

Sunday morning - lots more in the kids areas for the younger two kids and DH. DS1 and myself spent the morning with Iron Dragon and Wildcat, for his first ride on WC. He loved it. Then we met up with DH and his brothers and did a bit of shopping. After shopping we went to Blue Streak for DS1's first ever ride on it. I let him choose where we sat and he went to the back of the train. He loved it.

We spent the evening in the kids areas for a huge part of the time, and then DS1 and took a little together time and went back to Mine Ride. He decided to ride in the back car again and loved it. We then stopped and fed the fish and got a glass of water before meeting up with the rest of our group. Then we went to Midway Market for dinner. Unfortunately the park emptied really fast at this point because thunder started and spit rain. The Midway Market was great..and prices were low ($11.85 per adult and $7.85 per child).

Great trip report!

Note to others: Note complete absence of any discussion of Snoopy vs. Scooby and Nick. To most park patrons, it simply is not of paramount importance. . . or so it appears from where I sit.

It may not be of paramount importance but it is an issue of FUN.

There is nothing like the first trip to CP at 48" when you can finally ride the "big" coasters. This time BS and CCMR, maybe next time Gemini and Corkscrew.
