I'd love to do that. I'm terrified of heights, but if I was well-secured I think I'd be able to do it. After awhile I'd get used to it and be ok.

if i worked at an amusment park, this is the job that i would want to have, i think it would be so much fun getting to climb to the top of top thrill dragster everyday.

quick question, when they inspect wicked twister, do they just climb in the middle of the track, using it as if it's a ladder?

Millennium Force has a button installed by the manufacturer that must be pushed every 24 hours to verify the ride has been inspected, or it won't operate.

I have some interesting photos from when I was working Maintenance on Vortex and Flight of Fear back in 2003 but unfortunately that was before I got digital!

I have seen an article very similar to this one on the Point Blog before. The article featured the same guy, Tony and Tyler were doing an interview with him. It had a very interesting pic of him lying down on the track at the top of the lift and reaching over and under the track to inspect it. Very brave I say.

If my plans to become a roller coaster designer never becomes a reality this would be third on my jobs list. Right after getting involved with theater.

My dream job at Kings Island is to work maintenance and get to go up in Drop Tower's, tower. I've always wanted to open up that little door on top and peek my head out and have someone snap a picture.
