What's with all the events?

Featured Replies

What's with all the events going on at KI this year? I'm really impressed by the park's effort in attracting guests. First off, there's the concerts they have. But now, they brought in the Extreme Sports event, Nik Wallenda, Tennis on the fountains, an eating competition on labor day, and the list goes on. Also, up at Cedar Point, there have been several celebrity events this summer, and now they're planning on hosting a Triathlon next year. These parks are turning into more than just amusement parks. Just wondering where this initiative started.

Cedar Fair's way of getting people to visit the park besides a new attraction. It costs less too :)

Cedar Point has a christian music fest called PointFest Saturday, September 19. Then some nascar driver i never heard of(Joking), Jeff Gordon will be at Cedar Point Thursday, August 13.

I think their ideas to get people to come are great! I mean, ...they work. haha. besides. I like watching them too. Usually when theres stuff like that, I just go up for a little to watch it, and then leave, or maybe ride The Beast. Other than that, its too buisy.
