July 19, 200917 yr So I was at KI last weekend and was riding Diamondback at night. As we got to the water splash I felt a large amount of pressure on my arm like something pushing. It was only when the train started to go up that I noticed my arm & shirt was wet. I was in the very back seat so I knew it was the water shooting up that got me. I felt kind of stupid for holding my arms out so much but I did run into another person the next day that told me it happend to him too. So I guess my question is how many of you have had this happen to you? Ive been envenomed.
July 19, 200917 yr whenever in row 16 I turn completely around and get soaked in the face and arms and upper chest, it amazing

July 19, 200917 yr On one of my first rides in row 16 I turned around during the splashdown and got it right in the forehead! It was like late March so the water was freezing!
July 19, 200917 yr I always get wet in row 16, that's one of my favorite parts of that row! My husband's gotten it the best I've seen so far. He leaned way over and stuck both arms in the splash. His entire shirt, part of his shorts, both arms, and his head were completely soaked. He looked like he'd gotten off a water ride, not a roller coaster!
July 19, 200917 yr If you dont want to get wet on the hill down to the splash down, grab the restraint and duck down. Ive only once got a little spray in the back doing this.
July 19, 200917 yr That only happens if im rideing in row 16. but sometimes, even if i am, i dont get wet at all
July 19, 200917 yr Does it hurt when the splashdown hits your face? because I thought it was pretty powerful on my hand.
July 19, 200917 yr ^ The water, or the actual hose itself? The second option would hurt quite much, depending on who whipped it.
