I was a SOB hater but thanks to Giga I'm no longer. Front seat on the Blue train is the best. Wood coasters rock!

    SoB is a great front seat ride.... I however enjoy it in every seat. I've rode it in the back recently and came off pleased. The rosebowl does hurt in the back, but the rest of the ride is fine.

    yes, SOB is the greatest in the front seat... I never ride anywhere else but at least in the 1st & 2nd cart...

    we went last thursday, had a walk-on for front seat, ride was woodie typical. went again on saturday, waited 30ish mins, and I'm still in pain and I was in the second seat of the first car. I'd lay $ on there being a split beam again.

    If there was a split beam the ride would be shut down. I'm pretty sure they inspect the ride before park opening and have "a team of experts" looking at the wood to make sure

    I rode today in 2-1 on the blue train and it was very smooth. I love this coaster. Always have and always will.
