Restraints

Featured Replies

HI all,

I am thinking about getting my dad tickets to KI for fathers day, he loves Cedar Point but has never been to KI and said he would like to go sometime. However, he is a bigger guy, probably 250 lbs and 5'10. How forgiving are the restraints on the coasters at KI? He is able to ride Top Thrill Dragster and Millennium Force at CP. The only ride at CP that is questionable for him is Wicked Twister. Should he be ok at KI? I dont want to get tickets if he wont be able to ride the coasters. I apologize if this has been discussed, but I tried searching for a thread but couldnt find one.

Thanks for all your help!

Usually it's Kings Island patrons who worry about fitting the rides at Cedar Point! Kings Island's coasters and rides are far more forgiving sizewise than many of the rides at Cedar Point. I agree, if he can ride Top Thrill Dragster (lately, not years ago), then he will fit everything at Kings Island. If, on the other hand, he has not ridden TTD and/or Millennium Force in the last couple of years, such may not be the case.

Don't forget, if you have a Kings Island Gold or Cedar Fair Platinum season pass, you can bring your Dad (or a friend) for $9.99 on Father's Day:

Thank you all for your replies. We went to CP last week and he was able to ride TTD, so he should be able to ride everything at KI. Thanks for the info on bringing him for $9.99 on Fathers Day, Im not a gold pass member so I wont be able to take advantage, but I still appreciate the info.

Something I noticed nobody mentioned was that if he had a hard time fitting on Wicked Twister there's a chance he might have trouble fitting on Drop Zone. The restraints are the same but the seat belt positioning is different so I can't say for certain if he'll fit. Best of luck!
