Ride Recommendations

Featured Replies

Hey all I'm going to KI on Saturday but have a bruised tail bone. Its getting better but I still have pain when I sit down. I need to identify rides I can go on that will not make my situation worse.

Here are some thoughts so far I have.

Viking Fury

Diamondback

Delrium

Any other ideas? I see its going to be 84 and mostly sunny so we might do boomerang bay as well.

You may want to consider a relaxing day in Boomerang Bay. Soak in the wave pool and lazy river for the day and just take it easy.

Shake, Rattle & Roll, Zephyr and Avatar are fun without being jarring. The Eiffel Tower, KIMVRR and Grand Carousel can be enjoyed as well.

Im with the BB idea. Honestly, with the tailbone, I would take it easy until it heals up.

Its not worth one day of fun against that donut thing.

I wouldn't even bother riding anything that involves sitting down... I've had a bruised tail bone before, and personally I don't recommend anything at the hard park. If I were you, spend most of your day at BB. Try the wave pool and the lazy river. Like others said just relax. Let it heal up right. And if your going with anyone else don't give into peer pressure!

As intense as it is, Drop Tower is pretty easy on the body. You sit, you fall, you float, you brake slowly.

I'm not sure I'd ride many coasters or rides with that issue. I definitely wouldn't ride Delirium! Don't ride any wooden ones either. I'd agree with everyone else to just chill at BB if it's warm enough. If you're stubborn like I am haha I'd ride only your favorite ride and be done.... sorry. Hope you get better!

oh and P.S. I'm going saturday also :D

I would plan another day to go if I were you. I broke my tailbone and it was luckily during the winter, but even sitting in the car was a chore. Your tailbone will never be the same after it heals also. Honestly I wouldn't waste the $$$ unless you can handle not going on the bigger thrills. I wouldn't go on the wooden coasters, for sure. But spending the day in Boomerang Bay is an idea, but event that is limited what you can do.
