Okay, so I decided to go today, right after school. My sister had to get her pass processed, so I decided to tag along for 30 minutes of rides. I had a baseball game at 6 so I had to leave at 4:30. Diamondback is closed, so we look at other rides, all of which have too long of rides. We finally make it around to The Beast, hoping for the line to be short because we only had 10 minutes left. Turns out they were only running one train, each circuit being 5-6 minutes. Too long. I called my mom just to make sure it wasn't going to rain any more, and she said it wasn't. So, right as we are leaving, Diamondback starts running. Depressing, because I was hoping to gain on my friend (we're racing to 100 rides). So we leave, and get some Arby's on the way home. Right when I get home at 5, my dad calls. My game is cancelled! You don't even know the anger going on inside my mind!

Wow.. I am so sorry.

Look on the bright side though.. whenever I have a crappy day at the park, the next one is usually pretty amazing!

Too bad about all that. Hey, your next visit can't get much worse can it?

i think i saw you while i was on the platform waitin for the rain to stop and ride to start runnin again.

Yeah to bad Kevin, about the waits. So am I hearing this right, after the rain they were only running one train operation on The Beast and others?

while i was waiting for db to open {from the station}, one of the ride ops were telling me that after it rains they take one car off so they can keep the ride going incase it should ain again. so they aint no down time waitin for maintanance.

I still don't get why they do that, it makes the line's a lot longer. A five min wait for The Beast turned into a 20 min wait, so when it rains just go home. Coming back after the rain, you will be waiting in lines that should be walk-ons or short waits.

well you guys were exactly right. I went today for 3 hours and got 14 rides on DB and a ride on The Beast in.

Lucky I wanted to go today after seeing the webcam, but couldn't make it up there. In the morning it looked like there were walk-ons DB.
