why is it so different this year?

it used to be my favorite ride because you couldnt tell what was down and what was up

now it's about 50 seconds long and they keep the door open so you can see everything

and no fast flips!

i do have to say having the "bat" on the inside screech and growl at you is pretty cool

but it doesnt make up for the ride

Same. Tomb Raider: The Ride was extremely well themed, and riding the Crypt these days just kills me. The recently updated program is not that fun. I asked the ride operators and they said that the ride was not tearing itslef apart.

The TR:TR programs was a much better ride program IMO. Mainly due to the theming and the ability the ride uses to incorporate that theming into the ride experience.
