Any Ride Warriors Out There?

Featured Replies

For those of you who didn't see the signs over the weekend at Kings Island, our friends at the Cedar Fair Entertainment Company are constructing a site dedicated to Ride Warriors not unlike yourselves. Check it out at RideWarriorNation.com.

Thanks! I saw the URL and kept reminding myself to visit it, but I forgot the url. Thanks again!

Not sure if I am missing something but I don't see to much on that site.

well..... the site did say that it is "coming soon" so you must be patient...... perhaps this will be another 2 1/2 hour wait  ?????

It's about time they created a site for us crazies. B)

Angie, who arrives for ERT and then laps rides and coasters until she's nauseous and keeps going until the park has closed

speaking of... did i miss something or do we know who happened to win the photo contest? ;):P lol

We do not know yet.

*is still trying to figure out exactly what that site is*

Are they going to have a board dedicated to trim brakes? ^_^

Maybe they could have some games on the site, too. Line Jumping Olympics, anyone? Designated Smoking Area Disaster? Spitwater Falls River Rafting?

I'm still waiting to see more on this site. I don't understand this creed thing, and that's about all there is to it.

For some reason, I am reminded of Alexander Campbell, Barton W. Stone and Sir Walter Scott, and a saying that began "No creed but..."

Terpy, who knows some will know...Cane Ridge, anyone?

I noticed something else about Crypt's card:

You’ll never feel more alive than when you and your fate are sealed into the darkness of The Crypt. Be sure to stifle your horrified screams as you’re inverted four times over boiling lava and razor-tipped stalagmites; you don’t want to wake the dead buried bellow.

Four times? Boiling lava? Razor-tipped stalagmites? Bellow?

More like...

You'll never feel more bored than when you and your fate are sealed into the semi-darkness of The Crypt. Be sure to stifle your yawns as you're inverted two times over a concrete floor with lights shining on it, and the remains of old theming; you don't want to wake the log flume buried below.

Edit: Firehawk's calls the flying position the "superman" position. Hmm.

Edit 2: The Flight Deck obviously isn't ours, either. It's not even close.

Edit 3: Invertigo's extra pictures aren't of KI's.

Edit 4: Two of The Beast's extra pictures are of SoB. Fail!

I was referring to how they can't even get the height of their own rides right when other people can.

It seems like whoever put the information site isn't a ride warrior. Or, at least, hasn't been to KI.

Both could be very true. I would wager that most of the people who made the site or provided the info for the site weren't ride warriors, rather businessmen or computer programmers, and most likely have never been to Kings Island, if anything Cedar Point or whatever Cedar Fair park is closest.

wow, i was so excited about this site and it is very mis-informative :(

and i thought max air and Delirium were the same exact rides? if so why is even their info. completely different?

and wouldn't you know it, silver bullet is a floorless coaster.
