Same name diffrent ride type

Featured Replies

I noticed that alot of Cedar Fair parks have the same name rides as us but are diffrent then ours. Three diffrent parks have Votrex but ones a floor less and ones a stand up and the other one is like Flight Deck. Anyone else notice things like this?

They also have diffrent kinds of Drop Towers.

I checked I meant to say suspend like Flight Deck sorry. But i did more ride checks I saw some Adventure Expresses and it was called Thunder Run.

The ride formerly known as Tomb Raider: The Ride at Canada's Wonderland bears absolutely no resemblance to what is now called The Crypt at KI. Theirs was a Zamperla Volare flying coaster which is now called Time Warp.

Nearly all chains do this. See Thunderhawk at Cedar Fair, Viper at Six Flags, Superman at Six Flags, Batman: Various Variations at Six Flags, Top Gun at the old Paramount Parks, etc. The public doesn't care. It matters not to them.

^Agreed. Six Flags Great America has 2 Batman rides in itself. Different surnames, but still.

The Thunder Run in Canada is in no way related to Adventure Express...it is not an Arrow mine train, but rather a Mack powered coaster. A cute one, but powered none the less...It's about related to Adventure Express as a fish is to a cow.

The picture looked the same but i will watch a video.

You can watch whatever you want, but many of us here have ridden Canada's Thunder Run many, many times. It is a Mack powered coaster... it is not an Arrow mine train ride. And, just in case you wondered, Kentucky's Thunder Run currently belongs to Six Flags, and is neither a Mack powered coaster nor an Arrow mine train.

Terpy, tryin' to help, though it seems you are getting trying... :)
