This to me is wonserful news, sure nice weather increases those lines but it makes the whole day that more special.

I was thinking about the private event I was thinking maybe it is possibly related to the charity organization.

But hopefully they will avoid those showers as they are predicting "possible" late showers.

^^I feel sorry for the private event as well, but to be honest I don't think the park should have even let them rent out the park that day. I think the opening weekend should be a public-only weekend. A lot of people travel a good amount of distance to go for opening day, and many of them would go to the park for a second day to make the trip worthwhile. But now they don't have that option. Oh well. I was hoping the weather reporters would call for showers on saturday, and then none would show That would be ideal.

It's not a charity organization, it is a large corporation in the Cincinnati area.

The park will be making much much more garnateed money by renting the place out. Its simply a business descesion. You can always come a different day and get your fill of the park for the year all summer and fall long.

And Cedar Point has often rented out one of the two days of opening weekend there.

Personally, I already processed my past and plan to ride the Crypt first. That's a great ride!
