April 15, 200917 yr Hey all just wondering about the bring a friend days as regards to cost, limitations , etc. Any information appreciated. This is one of those questions that it's best to call the park and ask. 1-800-288-0808
April 15, 200917 yr I thought they did not have friend day last year? I know if they did I missed taking someone...
April 15, 200917 yr As far as I know there weren't any bring a friend free days, but I think on Mother's Day and Father's Day you could bring 1 guest per passholder at a cost of $10. I may be wrong though.
April 15, 200917 yr It was not a "Bring a Friend Free Day." Rather, if I recall it was a bring a friend for $10 or $20, limit one per pass holder. This year, the bring a friend discount days (May 10th and June 21st, which are Mother`s and Father`s day respectively) allow gold pass holders to bring a guest to the park for $9.99, according to the park`s website here: http://www.visitkingsisland.com/events/events.cfm?ec_id=27
April 15, 200917 yr ^ Now I know which days to stay away from KI Last "Bring a Friend" day I went to I had to wait 1.5 hours for Top Gun and 2 hours for The Beast. Also a 30 minute wait for pizza at LaRosa's. It was a little to crazy for me.
April 15, 200917 yr Waaaaait a minute. You mean they're having a bring a friend day the same day as RWW?!?!! Maybe I'll just come for the morning festivities and leave, to return for the nighttime festivities that day.
April 15, 200917 yr RWW will be insanely packed. Saturday is not only the start of RWW, but also Music in the Park and Trills and Thrills. Sunday again is RWW and also Gold Pass Bring a Friend day. Expect some massive lines on these days.
April 15, 200917 yr However, traditionally Mother's Day is NOT a busy day for parks, regardless of promotions. Most sane people (but not many of us) spend the day with their Mothers or in remembrance of them, and they do not do so at theme parks.

Yeah, I'll have to figure out how to juggle RWW and visit with Mom too. The whole family usually has lunch together that day, so it'll probably be KI early for ERT and events, leave at some point and come back for late ERT and events.
April 15, 200917 yr Last year they had at least 3 days. I think the other one was Labor day weekend or the weekend after labor day. I took my brother and mom out there for $10/each.
