I'm buying a Platinum Pass but live 4 hrs from Ki and CP and don;t want to make a special trip to process it or miss ERT waiting in line. I've called the 800# and a young lady told me that they must be processed at the park. I've heard or read people say that if you live 2+ hrs away you can get them processed over the phone. Does anyoone know anything about this.

Wah??? I've never heard of processing over the phone. I worked in Admissions for 10 years, the last year being 2004, and there was never a way then to do this, and I highly doubt there is now. If the park told you that it has to be done at the park, that's the way it has to be done.

tigellinus I'm not sure what your talking about I wasn't looking for priveledged information, a way to bend the rules or anything shady and I hope it didn't come across that way.

XGatorHead you've burst my bubble but given me the unfortunate answer that I thought was coming. The person I talked to at KI was young and I know when I was a phone rep there were many things that I thought I knew but didn't.

Somewhere (possibly a CP forum) I had read that you could process it over the phone but it was probably someone confusing buying it and processing it... or just someone acting like they knew when they didn't. That would be a big surporise!

When you "process" your pass, you're having your photo taken. There's no way to do that over the phone. The person you talked to at the park was right.
