Four Injured As Coaster Wagon Goes Off Rails

Featured Replies

A bolt? A single bolt?

I find that very unlikely.

Unless......

the "other" 7 bolts that held it in place have rusted off over the years, and instead of replacing them, we were just counting on the other one to hold it all.

Therefore it broke when the blot failed???

It looks, from the picture, as though that coaster is somewhat neglected in more areas than just "bolts".

From the looks of that roller coaster, I'm surprised the tape didn't get wet and fall off. I can just look at thing and tell you that I would never be willing to get on it.

I just wondered if the ride ops sang in the station:

Wait for the Wagon

Wait for the Wagon

Wait for the Wagon

And we'll all take a ride!

They'll have to hoist the wagon onto a lorrie, and make a right proper fix of it before tea, wink, wink, nudge, nudge.

Hey, a little duct tape could fix it up! It looks as if that's the only form of maintenance they perform on it anyway...

Well I do hope all of the people that were on the ride are ok. Maybe they will have better judgment on what they get on from now on. I mean come on one bolt????? No way.. I agree, the one that was left after the other ones fell off they were depending on way to much!!!
