I remember when they said "Details to be announced in January" and on January 31 they said Ride Warriors Coaster Weekend May 9 and 10.

Anyway I am looking forward to seeing full details on this. Since Trooper Mom probably won't be able to do a full day at a park, I'm gonna have to hang with someone for most of the time.

That would be great Giga... I know most of you all from events I'm just to shy to talk. Organizing a group would be a great idea.

Plus... by then we will all most likely be owners of the new KIC shirt design. We will stick out like sore thumbs.

KICentral has learned the following details about Ride Warriors Coaster Weekend. This is expected to be officially announced by the park tomorrow.

The inagural Ride Warriors Coaster Weekend will feature 14 and a half hours of ERT time on seven of Kings Island's world-class coasters:

Saturday, May 9th

The Beast 7:00am - 9:00am

Vortext 8:00am - 10:00am

Backlot Stunt Coaster 8:00am -10:00am

Diamondback 10:30pm - 1:00am

Sunday, May 10th

Flight of Fear 8:00am - 10:00am

The Racer 8:00am - 10:00am

Firehawk 8:00am - 10:00am

I'll ride with you and Kat if I get the chance. I'd love to be part of your fun-loving group. I'll be taking advantage of the backstage tours too.

I will definitely be there, along with my Wife and a good Friend from Bloomington. I am ALL for hooking up in a similar group to what we had off and on throughout the day giga... what a GREAT time that was.

Ksings and I are planning on camping out in my car to avoid an hour drive and hotel fees. Any ideas on parking?

iChase, I don't know the laws or anything, but perhaps a nearby roadside rest stop? You will have restrooms and vending machines close! Or maybe a 24 hour Walmart parking lot?

I'm a little bothered by the fact that Diamondback is the only one open at night. It sounds like a line waiting to happen, but I'll withhold judgement. Some Beast night rides would have fit in there somewhere very well too. (Preferably trimless, if maintenance would just take them off)

^^However, I do think it's possible the delay with the event might hurt attendance some. That said, 2.5+ hours of ERT is heavenly!!

Even with 1,000 people there, 4 rides should at least be happening!

Me and Ashers are both registered! I just put my member number for the "member/card#" form space. I hope that's right. I am so excited, this is going to be AWESOME! We will probably be only to go just Sunday or Saturday night and all day Sunday. This is coming up here in just a few weeks.

Hmm I really wish I could go. I need to convince someone to come with me. Lol I don't want to make the 1 and a half hour drive alone.

No problem! I know, it took forever for this info to finally be released. But now that it is, I am thinking it will have been well worth the wait!
