I like The Vortex view, too!

From the top of SoB you can see the entire park, with The Vortex you get a superb view of Rivertown, and this is a stellar view of The Beast! I am phyced to ride Diamondback! Thanks for the pic.

I think that is the netting on the side of the track.

Possibly the nets connected to the side of Diamondback's lift.

Ah ha! I get it now! Thanks Beastfan! I was thinking of like rope nets beneath the track, not the fencing on the side.

Edit: at first because of the light I thought it was wooden framing, like that of a roof.

Thought maybe there was some work being done on the new Beast entrance.

The two notable things that caught my eye are:

1. See...The Beast remains undisturbed afterall!! (at least to a degree)

2. It should be noted this view is looking to the left and not dead-on straight.

That's awesome! I like what you can see of Vortex as well. You can see the shape of the first hill and looks pretty cool.
