October 29, 200817 yr On Aug. 21, 2009 Sean Hannity's Freedom Concert will be returning to Timberwolf. I am fairly sure that is the correct date. It was menitoned tonight on Hannity & Colmes, but I didn't get the website for it.

October 29, 200817 yr Author Now I see the link. Firefox wasn't showing it. Had to use Internet Explorer. Wish I could buy some of the VIP tickets.
October 31, 200817 yr Oh boy, I can't wait for this!!!!! But can someone explain to me what this has to do with Freedom?
October 31, 200817 yr The Freedom Concert series, is a concert series hosted by conservative talk/radio host Sean Hannity. A portion of all ticket proceeds will be donated to the Freedom Alliance Foundation Scholarship fund for college scholarship for those dependents of veterans who have been killed in action or are 100% disabled as a result of war injuries.
October 31, 200817 yr It's good to see another event at KI with lots of famous people! I was glad to hear Sean mention frequently how Kings Island is one of the most beautiful parks in the country. Wait 'til they get a load of Diamondback!!
October 31, 200817 yr The Freedom Concert is for a charity. If you don't like it, don't go. It's that simple. From the terms of service you agreed to when you registered on these forums: Due to the board's history of political turbulence, general political talk is NOT welcome on the boards unless it is unbiased and DIRECTLY related to the matter at hand (i.e. Local Senators meet at KI). Threads or posts that the staff deems to be at risk of causing disrespect or result in people feeling threatened will be removed by the staff. If an individual user is persistent, action will be taken against them by the staff. We are about what happens at Kings Island, not your political views.
October 31, 200817 yr Amen and Hallelujah. In addition, one cannot give to ALL charities...nor can a charity be established for every worthy cause. Politically, there is probably NOTHING I agree with Sean Hannity on...but I have gone to his Freedom concerts at Great Adventure, I have met the man several times, he is genuine and supports this cause with all his heart. I willingly pay to go...and I strongly encourage others to do so. In addition, you WILL have a great time. It's amazing who can and does show up at those things!
October 31, 200817 yr Author I heard on his radio show, yesterday, that the Freedom Concert at KI will be broadcast live on WGN America.
October 31, 200817 yr Wow somebody just blew the TOS out of the water. Take it somewhere else. The Freedom Concerts are a great event and its even better that it is for a great cause. Looks like it will be a great line up as well for the show next year.
November 1, 200817 yr The place will be filled with Vets, just like myself. We like the ideal that is is going to a great cause. It will be a great time for the whole family. Airborne all the way!
November 1, 200817 yr I'm with Interp. Sean Hanity is actually someone that I don't think I could even go as far as shake hands with. (Anyone that knows me knows that there are very few I can say that about.) But, this is a good cause and good music, though. I just wish that his name were not attached with such a worthy even. Well, you know what they say: if you don't have anything nice to say about anybody, come sit by me! - Clairee Belcher (Steel Magnolias)
November 1, 200817 yr Orig-Emp, which airborne division were you in? 82nd Abn, 3-4th Air Defense Btn (Abn)
November 1, 200817 yr That is very, very cool sir. Thank you for your service! I've always loved studying the Airborne infantry and it's history, such an amazing group of soldiers.
November 2, 200817 yr I'm with Interp. Sean Hanity is actually someone that I don't think I could even go as far as shake hands with. Are you exempt from the TOS because you have so many posts, or what?
November 2, 200817 yr That is not about politics Old_Joe. No one is exempt from the Terms Of Service. EDIT: It is also indeed about the task at hand.

Ya'll know I respect the job that ya do and would not do anything on the board that would get anyone into trouble. .... now I may yank some chains <G> .... But that's just cause I'm a big kid.
November 3, 200817 yr I'm not looking forward to moderating the topic about this concert when it comes up in 2009... ...but I will be at the concert.

You Know, I'm just in a very foul mood today. Not sure why. Not sure if it's the weather, alergies or comming down with something. Just thought I'd share.
November 3, 200817 yr Woofer, no need to be in a foul mood, you have been very polite, respectful and in line with the TOS here just as most have. It was just a friendly reminder to some who were not.
November 3, 200817 yr Sorry, I forgot what the topic was. Oh yeah, the line up for the Freedom Concert looks great. Billy Ray Cyrus, Charlie Daniels, Lee Greenwood, and Michael W. Smith will be performing. I have seen a few of the performers before, but Lee Greenwood puts on one of the best shows around. Very passionate and energetic, not to mention he is a great artist. Still one of the best shows I have ever attended was his performance at the Lee Greenwood Theater in Sevierville TN, absolutely amazing.

RailRider saying Billy Ray Cyrus in concert would be great. <G> WooferBear ... Sad to Say he went to see Billy Ray (many moons ago) at the ChiliFest.

Well yes the line up is great even if it isnt your style of music. We are talking about some of the most iconic Country songs around in this line up. Achey Breaky Heart, Devil Went Down to Georgia, and God Bless America. Still relevant performers and will put on a great show. Well worth the price of admission...
