The Pavilion is very nice. I was there for Weird Al and I was very impressed. The only problem I had was before the show, when the sun was setting. The sun slipped in on the sides but it was gone about 10 minutes into the show.

Now of course with PNC buying National City, I got a feeling that it will soon be the PNC Pavilion, which doesnt sound bad at all

Do you have attendance figures for Coney?

It seemed to be a banner year. Even the rain for July 3rd

didn't seem to discourage the masses.

No, I don`t know how Coney did attendance wise this year. I`ve heard that it might have done better this year than last year, but don`t know for certain.

If Coney wanted to they could keep adding more water slides they have the room to do it. I think the new slides will really boost attendence for them way to go Coney 3 more extra slides!!!

I doubt coney island has the room to add more water slides unless they expand the pool area quite a bit or get rid of some of the much- needed lounge space.

Though they could possibly put a slide over the pump room/ bathrooms in the back of the pool area or over the Island Shop.

I'm still mixed on the new Pavilion. Warped Tour is no fun when you're standing on and around chairs.... makes for one heck of a headache (more than normal;)) and it seems worse for the whole injuries thing but it is nice! lol

I have a question for CoastersRZ. Are they going to have the in pool speed slide at Coney Island next year? It was closed a long time last year and it isn't included on the membership details sheet I got.
