"Vegas-style 9 acre theme park"? I am sorry Interp, I know you have a fondness for the north east, but I am getting tired of the "want to be" attitude of a city that HAD IT ALL. That city has slowly thrown it away a little at a time. Next thing you know they will get Disney to develop central park. I think the next time we take a trip up north east, we will just go to Buffalo and the Carousel Factory.

I find wonder wheel fascinating. Would like to ride it someday if I ever get back up there.

It IS fascinating....and for most, quite, quite terrifying. Disney has a very faithful recent rendition of it at California Adventure, too.

I do understand that, I just did not want you to think I was bashing you in any way. I just miss the old Coney board walk, and many, many other attractions in that area of the country that are no longer.

As do I. Perhaps most of all, I miss the candy store/soda shop in the subway station across the street. Yes, I know they moved. No, it isn't the same. And never will be.

And I know you weren't bashing me! I also know if you were, I'd know!

Friends can do that, you know!
