August 21, 200817 yr I read on the KI events calendar that the Columbus Blue Jackets will be at Kings Island this Saturday. http://www.visitkingsisland.com/events/eve...04&ec_id=15 So I'm assuming there will be crowds. Above that, it's a weekend (more crowds), and the weather is supposed to be nice (even more crowds). My dad wants to go with me, but I am concerned that the park is going to be packed. Should we go, or find something else to do?
August 21, 200817 yr Not to be mean, I am a HUGE Blue Jackets fan, but....... nobody else really seems to care about them too much. I don't think that they alone, will bring in huge crowds. Maybe if they start playing better, people will take more of an interest in them. Until then though, enjoy the small lines at the autograph sessions
August 21, 200817 yr ^^Yeah, I agree...for the past two years I've gone the Saturday before Labor Day weekend (with nice weather both times!) and the crowds were not bad at all!! More like a typical July/August Sunday (if that) and probably the best Saturday to go during Jul-Aug...school has just started for kids making KI less important now AND with Labor Day weekend the very next weekend, most people will be going somewhere then! Don't get me wrong, there won't be the walk-on's like the lucky people got this week, but I seriously don't think it should be bad. Good luck!!
