July 26, 200818 yr Very impressive. There's no way I would recognize a "Drowning child" that fast with that wave pool being as full as it is when I go there. Hats off to the lifeguards
July 26, 200818 yr Those VAT tests (Vigilance Awareness Tests) are part of Ellis and Associates certification process. The parks that use Ellis and Associates to train and certify their lifeguards are required to do a certain amount of VAT tests a week. Besides Kings Island, Cedar Point, Coney Island and Disney all use Ellis and Associates to train and certify their lifeguards.
July 26, 200818 yr Very cool. Reassuring for sure. It's nice to know that they are actually looking out for people.
