Hi,

Does anyone know if KI is planning a July 4th celeberation with extended fireworks this year? I checked their website, and could not find any info yet on July 4th. Trying to make some plans for the holiday.

If they do, perhaps this year like other parks, they will actually have their Independence Day celebration on Independence Day, unlike last year....

I actually loved having it the day before last year.

Last year was the first year we didn’t go on the 4th in the last few years because the lack of any events on the 4th of July. We worked on the 3rd when they held it last year. All was not lost as we decided to go to Turkey Run to try something new, and loved it and are considering doing it again this year too.

Fireworks will be amongst many things that happen at KI on July 4th. Without saying too much, Kings Island will be the place to be that day.

so the park is closing after the fireworks as they usually do? i have heard rumors that there was going to be extended ride times that night and then i have heard that there werent....which one is true?
