Thursday was my sons' first trip to King's Island. I have been going each year my whole life and my wife and I go every fall. Luke (5) and Chaz(3) were ready for this trip and it was very special.

ate lunch in the parking lot (lunchables, juiceboxes and nuty bars, of course)

Hit the water park for a few hours (while in the area with the little sunken ship I'm just standing there and I hear the lifeguard whistle. I see her sprint, almost running on top of the water, and grabbing a child from under the water. Actually it was a dummy thrown in by a KI safety person. I about s#@* myself until I realized it was fake)

This was a great trip (I only spent $60 for tickets and $10 for parking for he entire day). With a family, it looks like it is going to be a two day trip in the future. it was special for my wife and I to finally bring the boys to a place we love to go each year. I can't wait to do it again.

(I assume your Scooby Doo is Little Bill's Giggle Coaster (once known as Scooby Zoom and later Taxi Jam)? Or was it Scooby and the Haunted Castle?--not being a smart aleck, but truly curious Terpy...since to Terpy Scooby Doo will always be that coaster you call Beastie! )

You think a baby in the sunken ship was bad wait till you hear this last year I was in the wave pool and they threw a baby in there right by me. I did not know what to do next thing u know a lifeguard jumps in few now that scary and the funny thing is they look real.

He means SDATHC because he mentions Little Bills Giggle Coaster as a different ride he rode...
