I'm purchasing my gold pass today or tomorrow at meijers and I'm having it processed saturday when I visit the park...How long is the wait typically at the processing on a Saturday...I've heard from people that it can get up to a hour or two..Is this true??

That is usually only on opening weekend. While lines will not likely be an hour or two to process, you might expect some long lines with this being the holiday weekend and all. But, Kings Island has the season pass processing process down to a tee. Even if there are a bunch of people in line waiting outside of the season pass building, the line will usually move pretty quickly.

^ However, with this weekend being the last for the gold pass, you can expect longer lines than what we've seen the past few weeks. Lines are typically longer the weekend of a season pass pricing change. If the line is just past the table area and starting to curve down to the parking lot, it's only about a 20-30 minute wait from that point. If it gets longer than that, they will sometimes have an associate start at the end of the line and tell people that they can use their season pass certificate to enter through the turnstiles, and they can have their pass processed later. Note: Do not automatically take your SP certificate to the turnstiles, as they do not always accept the certificates there, only when mgmt has deemed that the SP Processing line has reached a certain length. A 1 to 2 hour wait is EXTREMELY rare.
