The Band and Orchestra (sp?) groups are going to Kings Island this Saturday. Will there be alot of other schools there? Im not in band... but i might go so i can hangout with all my friends! If i do go, ill post a Photo Trip Report.

Yes there will be multiple schools there, my school band was going but we live about 80 miles from KI so the school board did not give us premission to go out of state and plus gas is way to much so we will be going to SFKK instead...

I was going to say when we did the choir competition down there, there were choirs from all over, but the weather was crappy the days we seem to have gone...so it was basically just the groups, but it can be pretty crowded.

Due to scheduling conflicts our band is heading down the day after school, May 30th. I wish we were competing though.

a little off topic, but my schools band is going to a competition down at Cedar Point today. Very odd, as we live much much closer to KI than Cedar Point...

My band takes a trip to CP 2 out of every 3 years and goes to a competition somewhere along the way. The years we don't go we go on a bigger trip. This year were going to Hawaii over thanksgiving! Can't wait!

Girr! I dont have a ride to Kings Island, and all of my band friends will be there but me..

My band director told us that next year we will be traveling down to Cedar Point to compete. I can't wait for this event! Even though we still have a whole year.

I could of gotton a ride if i never would of quit band way back in 5th. grade...

Really? I seem to recall that the cheerleading competitions are held in Timberwolf every year on Labor Day weekend.
