May 7, 200818 yr I seriously think Rivertown keeps getting drier and drier! Lol! I mean, first the lake is drained, then KCKC is annihilated, finally swan lake is removed. Soon they'll have to change the area name.
May 8, 200818 yr WHERE HAS ALL THE WATER GONE? If you look at the 1972 brochure, there are actually four bodies of water. 1) Oktoberfest 2) Rivertown 3) Ohio Overland Auto Livery 4) Kenton's Cove http://www.themeparkbrochures.net/maps/1972/pki197x_1.html Now there is none. http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&tab=wl They may have to change the name from Islands to Desert! lol pilotank

Where did that come from? And we still do not know if there will be water incorporated with the 2009 coaster.
May 8, 200818 yr This will never happen. They have a walkway there now for the exit. When they had the lake, you exited out back where the Crypt walkway is now. They will never use that as a walkway again, so there really is no way to put the lake back in. Also, it collected a lot of garbage, and was a mess a lot. The lake was NOT a calamity of Paramount Parks. KECO actually removed it in 1987 when The Vortex was built. That's another reason you wont see the lake back. The lake spilled over into the area of the lift hill of Vortex.
